Observe the art of vocal refinement up close as acclaimed baritone André Chiang leads a free, public masterclass. Local singers Caitlin Carlberg, Nicholas Cravens, Cody Bray, and Derek Carson will receive expert coaching on vocal technique, interpretation, and stage presence, offering a rare behind-the-scenes look at the training that shapes great performers. Whether you’re a singer, a student, or simply an opera lover, this is a unique opportunity to witness the craft in action.

Composed by Giuseppe Verdi, La traviata is a poignant opera that tells the story of Violetta, a courtesan who finds true love with Alfredo, only to face societal pressures and personal sacrifice. With lush melodies and dramatic intensity, it explores themes of love, honor, and redemption.
